Chapter 81: Zou Ning (Part 4)

Although his mother has never intervened in the company during these years, she was the largest shareholder of the company and the decision-making power was in her hands. As for him, if he knew about his father’s derailment, he would definitely support his mother’s decision. His father’s little shares can hardly do anything.

In fact, for so many years, his father has the ability to connect with customers. If he divorced his mother, he can start his own company. To put it bluntly, he was reluctant to give up the huge assets left by his grandfather. For the money, he could send his wife to a mental hospital. Once his mother was proven to have a mental disorder, she could only enjoy dividends from the shareholders, but the decision-making power will be automatically transferred to her guardian. According to the law, his mother’s guardian was his father.

Zou Ning suddenly burst into tears despite the embarrassment. His heart was filled with despair and pain. In fact, it was because his father didn’t want to divorce and wanted to monopolize the shares in his wife’s hands, so he fabricated the lie that his wife passed away. To put it bluntly, this lie was not to deceive others but was specially fabricated for him. What has been reported to the police? What have been searching for almost half a year? They were all fake. Zou Hai just doesn’t want him to track down his mother.

When Zou Ning was crying, he remembered a lot of things. He remembered that Zou Hai was reluctant to let him go home during vacation for the past 3 years. Before he graduated from college, he repeatedly emphasized to him that he must continue his studies abroad. He even encouraged him to have a foreign girlfriend and even start a business abroad.

In fact, Zou Hai just doesn’t want him to come back. As long as he doesn’t come back, no one will care if his mother was crazy or dead. What mattered was, he can safely occupy that large amount of property with peace of mind.

For the first time, Zou Ning felt that the father he was familiar with was as scary as the devil.

Zou Ning lowered his head and wiped away his tears. When his emotions calmed down, he asked, “Master, can you figure out who my father’s mistress is?”

Lin Qingyin poured herself another cup of tea: “Do you know your father’s eight characters? And if you have a picture of him, show it to me.”

Zou Ning looked for the photo of their father and son from his mobile phone and handed it to Lin Qingyin. Then he said Zou Hai’s date of birth.

Zou Ning’s mobile phone has very good pixels. Lin Qingyin zoomed in and saw the wrinkles and spots on Zou Hai’s face clearly: “Your father is not simple. If it were in the past, he was almost like a great villain. He is very ambitious, cruel, and ruthless. He will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal.”

Zou Ning nodded his head. He had always been proud of his father’s characteristics. He felt that he was ambitious, decisive, vigorous, and had the style of a superior. But Zou Ning never thought that his father could use this method on his family. When his derailment was exposed, he decisively fabricated a scenario about his wife’s mental illness and sent her to the mental hospital. Then deceive his son who was studying abroad. The method was clean and tidy. If it weren’t for Zou Ning’s unwillingness even after 3 years, he was afraid his mother would stay in the mental hospital until she died… …

“Your father’s mistress has a deep relationship with him. He should be his first lover.” Lin Qingyin held her chin and said, “According to his eight characters, he should have cheated at the age of 36, and his illegitimate daughter was born the next year.”

Zou Ning couldn’t even cry at this time. His grandfather died when his father was 36 years old. As soon as his father-in-law died, Zou Hai immediately reunited with his old lover.

He couldn’t wait anymore!

  1. seems like there’s a repeated/extra paragraph

“Your father’s lover has a deep relationship with him, and it should be his first love.” Lin Qingyin said with his chin resting on him: “From the perspective of the horoscope, he should have derailed at the age of thirty-six, and his illegitimate life the following year. Female was born.”

    1. Good thing you’ve reminded the translator, LQY almost became a he in this paragraph. 😅😅😅 Although most of characters in many translated CNs can’t avoid having “gender fluidity” (sometimes became a he, another times became a she, and in some extreme case became an it) due to typos, being missed when the text was edited, or some unknown problem(s), the right pronoun for the characters really help a lot in comprehending the story.
