Chapter 96: Little Master (Part 1)

Lin Qingyin’s new roommate was named Chen Zinuo, who was from Hei Province. As soon as she pushed open the door of the dormitory happily, they heard this sentence head-on.

Chen Zinuo took a step back subconsciously and looked up at the house number on the door: “It’s right! It’s 703!”

Chen Zinuo’s mother, Lin Jin, glanced at Lin Qingyin and her daughter hesitantly, not knowing whether to go in or not.

Zheng Guangyan quickly smiled and said hello: “You also live in this dormitory, right? My daughter’s name is Lin Qingyin, and we are from Qi Province.”

Chen Zinuo’s mother and daughter breathed a sigh of relief at the same time. They thought that they might have heard things wrong just now. They quickly put down their large bag and a small bag and glanced at the name on the bed, which happened to be the bed by the window.

“Daughter, you are lucky!” Lin Jin put her things on the bed with a smile, looked around, and praised: “This room is bright and clean!” She turned her head and smiled at Zheng Guangyan and Lin Qingyin: “You guys cleaned it well, it’s spotless!”

Zheng Guangyan smiled and said: “The dormitory itself is very clean.”

Lin Jin thought that Zheng Guangyan just was being polite, so she quickly said with a smile: “My daughter’s name is Chen Zinuo. Both of them are from the same dormitory, they can help each other in the future.” Then she pushed Chen Zinuo to say hello and took out a bag of plum and a small basin from the big bag. Not long after, she brought back a basin of washed and clean plums: “This is the fruit of the plum tree in my yard. This year the tree is prosperous and bears a lot of big and sweet plums, you can try them.”

Lin Qingyin looked at the red plums and immediately thanked people after picking a piece. After taking a bite, it was full of juice, with a hint of sourness in the sweetness, which made it especially delicious.

Since she ate other people’s plums, she had to give some advice. Lin Qingyin has been accustomed to being questioned by strangers for the past two years. The business of fortune-telling has mixed opinions. Some people say that if she can do fortune-telling, it would be good. However, people who have real skills were usually elderly. In people’s impressions, a little girl like her has no skills at all in the field of fortune-telling.

Lin Qingyin took out the wet wipes to clean her hands, and smiled at Lin Jin: “From the look of your face, your mother is still alive, but your father died of liver disease 3 years ago.”

Lin Jin looked at Lin Qingyin dumbfounded and asked subconsciously: “How do you know?”

Lin Qingyin smiled and said: “I have some fortune-telling skills. When you just opened the door, I saw that your eyebrows were obscure, so I asked you if you wanted to fortune-telling?”

Lin Jin hasn’t come back to her senses, but her mouth replied subconsciously: “Then alright.”

The land of Hei Province was vast. Since ancient times, they were known for worshipping fox immortals and the like. Even up to now, there were still people who worship them. People pray to these immortal foxes to help eliminate disasters and solve problems.

Lin Jin grew up in a rural area. When she was a child, she not only saw a fox fairy, but also the one who knew people who dances to worship gods and immortals. However, these people were usually old women in their 40s and 50s. She had never seen little girls doing this kind of thing. and

With the development and progress of society, people know more and more things through TV and the Internet. People were now not easy to deceive unlike before. Many people who pretend to be fortune-telling masters become less and less. There was only one goddess left in Lin Jin’s hometown, but it was only half-baked. When the children couldn’t sleep well at night, the villagers will invite her to come. She will only murmur a few words, then she will earn twenty or thirty yuan at a time.

Lin Jin has seen a lot of things, so she still believes in fortune-telling. She felt that there was nothing wrong to hear her fortune. If she will ever face a disaster, she could avoid it if she knew it earlier.

Lin Qingyin found a stool and sat down, while Lin Jin sat opposite her. Chen Zinuo had a headache when she saw this, but at this time, she was too embarrassed to speak.
