Chapter 3: Escape

“I’m sorry.” An Yan immediately bowed her head to apologize, realizing that she had bumped into the other person without noticing.

“It’s okay.” A deep and pleasant male voice echoed in the corridor.

An Yan didn’t care whether the voice sounded good or not at this moment. She didn’t even see the other person’s face. She hurriedly picked up her canvas bag and rushed to the door of the club.

“…….” The young man looked at the figure disappearing at the door of the club. His expression was slightly startled, was it her?

Just then there was a noise: “Hurry up, don’t let her run away!”

The man came back to his senses and saw three men in suits of different shapes running towards him, and he immediately understood.

“Sorry, make way.”

The young man pretended to be unable to avoid, deliberately blocked the corridor, and asked preemptively: “Which way are you going?”

The three men were anxious to catch people, but they were dazzled and flustered by his swaying left and right to avoid.

“Sir, please go first.” One of the men reacted and said quickly.

With a faint smile on his lips, the man slowly stepped forward and walked towards the box on the other side of the corridor.

On the other side, after An Yan ran out of the club, she ran towards the busy pedestrian street without hesitation and was soon drowned in the crowd.

An Yan did not dare to relax and kept shuttling through the crowd until her physical strength was exhausted, and her feet slowed down.

She couldn’t help but look behind her carefully, and confirmed that she had shaken off the people behind her, and then she strolled on the busy street with peace of mind.

It was 8:30 in the evening, which was the busiest time on the bustling streets. In addition, the day after tomorrow was May Day, and the whole city had long been lingering in a strong festive atmosphere.

An Yan sat on a bench on the street, opened her canvas bag, and checked it. Nothing was missing, and she finally felt at ease.

When she thought of the experience just now, she was very upset. Those people were despicable and shameless!

“Alas, all the efforts of several months have gone to waste~”

An Yan couldn’t help but sigh. She was a student majoring in pharmacy. Now it was the last semester of college, which was the internship period that every fresh graduate had to go through.

Taikang Pharmaceutical was the internship unit assigned by the school. The internship will take a total of six months. After getting the graduation certificate, she can be converted to a regular employee in the company.

Her grades were not top-notch, but they were still excellent, so the internship unit assigned to her was not bad. After all, Taikang Pharmaceutical was also a well-known enterprise in the provincial capital.

Unfortunately, there were termites. The internal atmosphere was not very good. It was simply a battlefield of intrigue, especially the sales and public relations department that was linked to interests.

Originally, she was a technician in the testing department and had nothing to do with the sales and public relations department, but her appearance was too eye-catching.

Less than a week after entering the company, she was repeatedly persuaded to transfer to the sales and public relations department, saying that the department was more suitable for her to display her talents.

This was also funny. As a person majoring in pharmacy, was there a place better for her to display her talents than in a professional position?

Her goal was to become a licensed professional pharmacist but to obtain this certificate, one must have one year of working experience, which was why she has repeatedly endured the discomfort and continued to stick to her job.

Because this job not only provides her with a work certificate but also guarantees her basic living. If she wants to obtain a national professional certificate, she can’t just spend more time and effort, and some reference materials are indispensable.

These days, people need money to do anything, and they really can’t move forward without money.
