Chapter 39: Outsiders are not allowed

Now, all Si Si’s antiques have been sold out, and she doesn’t plan to ask Qi Mohan to give anything else for the time being. Anyway, after paying off the bank loan, there would still be a lot of money left in the account, enough to help Qiushui City buy supplies.

If the disaster there lasts for too long, it would be okay to start a fight with Qi Mohan when the money runs out.

Although Uncle Tang and Mr. Guo spent most of the cash they got from auctioning calligraphy and paintings every day, they will have more income in the future as they own so many antiques from the Daqi Kingdom.

The two old men were happy. Uncle Tang made arrangements to make a meal himself and treat everyone to a good meal.

Si Si thought she would be late when she returned home, the two kids must have been anxious while waiting, so she made excuses to refuse.

Tang Xu originally thought that he would take the opportunity to have dinner to spend more time with Si Si, but he didn’t expect that she would refuse like this.

In desperation, he had to send the person back reluctantly.

When Si Si returned to the room on the top floor, the two kids were sitting on the bed, looking eagerly in the direction of the door.

Throughout the whole day, they didn’t see the shadow of the beautiful sister, and all the vases and ornaments in the room disappeared. This means that she must have come back. It’s all because they were sleeping too deeply, and didn’t even notice her when she came back.

When they saw Si Si, they didn’t even wear their shoes, they quickly ran to her side and held her hands one by one.

Xiao Qing raised her head: “Sister, why did you stay outside all day? Qing’er misses you so much.”

“Mujin misses sister too.”

Si Si patted the heads of the two little kids lovingly: “I have something to do today, so I am outside all day.”

Look at the snacks she left for two little kids on the table, they were untouched.

“Don’t you like those things? Why don’t you eat them?”

“My sister and I both like it very much, but we want to wait for her to come back and eat it together.” Xiao Mujin explained with his big eyes blinking.

Si Si was once again touched by the guy’s childish words. She pulled the two of them to the table and said: “Mujin and Qing’er are so sensible. I will eat with you.”

Although they were all snacks that Si Si was tired of eating, with two little kids accompanying her, she seemed to have found a fresh taste again.

It was already evening, and just eating snacks was not enough.

But Si Si considered that cooking would take a lot of time, so she cooked some quick-frozen dumplings.

After the three of them had a full meal, Si Si thought to help Qi Mohan purchase more supplies. The supermarket’s warehouse must free up more space.

With so much money in her account every day, Si Si felt extra motivated when she was in a good mood.

After struggling for two hours, she allowed them to carry back more than thirty carts of grain.

Si Si didn’t feel it was very hard. The two little kids only pulled the cart more times and didn’t feel tired, but they made Qi Mohan busy.

Although the ancient houses were large in area, there were rooms. So how could they accommodate so many carts of supplies?

At first, Imperial Concubine Yun and Qi Mohan didn’t think it was strange when they saw the two little kids bringing back food one after another. After all, Miss Si Si would ask them to carry food back in the evenings these days.

But gradually, as the amount of food brought back by the two little kids increased, both Imperial Concubine Yun and Qi Mohan discovered that Si Si had sent more things than before, and the extra food was not just a bit more.

Since it was discovered that only two little kids could go to Si Si’s place, no one except Imperial Concubine Yun and Qi Mohan were allowed to enter this room.

When delivering food, Qi Mohan was responsible for unloading the goods alone.

After all, he has martial arts skills, so he doesn’t find it difficult to do this.

But today was different. The two were like had injected chicken blood, and they didn’t feel tired at all. They keep delivering cart after cart of food.

To allow the next cart of grain to enter smoothly, Qi Mohan kept unloading the goods, and the speed could be said to have reached the extreme.

Even so, he was still unable to do what he wanted. Seeing that the space in the room was almost filled with food, Qi Mohan had no choice but to call Han Yi and Han Er to come in and help.

He and Imperial Concubine Yun ordered the people of the palace not to enter the rooms of the young master and young lady because they were on guard against ordinary servants.

As for the few shadow guards around him, they were simply hiding from afar and keeping silent.

They hid in a high place to protect Qi Mohan every day, so how can they not see the difference in this room?

Although Han Yi and Han Er knew there was something fishy in this room, they were still shocked by the scene in front of them when they entered.

Seeing the two of them standing there, Qi Mohan urged: “What are you still doing? Move all the food to the side house.”

Han Yi and Han Er managed to collect their thoughts and started working after saying “Oh”.

With their help, Qi Mohan felt a little more relaxed here.

After arranging all the food, Imperial Concubine Yun came over with a handkerchief to help Qi Mohan wipe the sweat from his forehead.

Imperial Concubine Yun couldn’t help but sigh: “How long did Miss Si Si prepare to get so much food at once?”

When she just started talking, two little kids came back.

Xiao Mujin felt proud when he heard her grandmother mention her sister.

“Grandma, my sister said, she will send more food in the next few days.”

“What? Miss Si Si said that she will send more food every day?” Imperial Concubine Yun’s face was full of shock.

At the same time, she also asked about the question that concerned her most.

“Did you see anyone helping Miss Si Si transport food?”

Xiao Mujin spread his hands: “Never. My sister said that outsiders are not allowed to get in where she lives.”

“Mohan, look, look, how hard it is for this young lady. You, a grown man, have to ask for help to carry so much grain. How did Si Si carry so much grain into the cart by herself?”

When Qi Mohan heard this, his heart felt an inexplicable pain.

Si’s slender figure suddenly appeared in his mind.

For such a thin girl, she must be exhausted if she does this.

Thinking of Si Si putting in so much physical effort for Qiushui City, Qi Mohan resented himself for not being able to follow the two little kids to Si Si’s place.

Thinking of this, Qi Mohan thought of the mobile phone used to send messages to each other.

The mobile phone was in Xiao Qing’s hand, and there was a video recorded by Si Si on it.

Seeing her uncle’s eyes on the mobile phone, Xiao Qing handed it over: “Uncle, sister has something to say.”

Qi Mohan couldn’t wait to open the latest video.

What appears in the video was not Si Si, but most of the grain in the warehouse.

Si Si’s voice came from inside: [Imperial Concubine Yun, Qi Mohan, this is the warehouse of my supermarket. The food in it was purchased by my father during his previous agricultural activities.]

Si Si was in a good mood, so she thought about sharing her situation with the mother and son.

Immediately afterward, she walked in front of something that neither Qi Mohan nor Imperial Concubine Yun recognized.
