Chapter 49: Mujin remembered something

“Qing’er, tell uncle, did that uncle say where Si Si is?” Qi Mohan held Xiao Qing on his lap and asked as patiently as possible.

“Uncle was also looking for my sister and asked who Qing’er was.” Xiao Qing answered truthfully.

“Then how did you answer?” Qi Mohan asked.

“Qing’er said that my sister is a distant relative of hers.” The little girl felt that she answered appropriately and didn’t cause any trouble to her sister. She even raised her little darling when speaking, as if she was asking for praise.

Qi Mohan couldn’t think of praising the little girl at the moment, because the bad feeling in his heart was getting stronger and stronger.

Imperial Concubine Yun was also at a loss. She knows what customs and habits will be more than a thousand years later. In her impression, it was the limit for a girl to be able to show her face. What’s the point of coming home so late?

Just when both of them were immersed in their thoughts, Xiao Mujin also came back.

Seeing Xiao Mujin, Imperial Concubine Yun and Qi Mohan’s faces lit up, and they instinctively thought that this kid must have some good news when he came back.

Who would have thought that the first thing Xiao Mujin said was: “Grandma, uncle, Mujin remembered something.”

The little guy came back to say something, and not to inform everyone that Si Si had returned safely.

Qi Mohan and Imperial Concubine Yun fell to the bottom again.

Xiao Mujin ran to the position between her grandmother and uncle on her short legs.

“Mujin remembers that when my sister was at home, her cell phone was san, and then that uncle’s voice came out. It was the uncle who wanted to treat her to dinner, so she went out.”

Hearing what Xiao Mujin said, Xiao Qing seemed to have remembered it.

“Yes, it’s him. The uncle who just talked to Qing’er invited my sister to dinner, and the sister came back alone.”

According to the descriptions of the two little kids, Qi Mohan compiled a list of possible situations that may occur.

Si Si was first invited to have dinner with that person. After dinner, the two separated, and Si Si never went home.

Based on what he understood about Si Si these days, this girl goes out to do things during the day and doesn’t come back past midnight at the latest.

Now that it is about to enter midnight, but Si Si has not come back yet.

Then, the most likely thing was that something happened to her.

Thinking of this, Qi Mohan stood up coldly: “Mother, I have to go rescue Miss Si Si.”

After saying that, he picked up the two little ones one by one: “You two hold uncle and try a few more times, and uncle will believe that he can follow you to Si Si’s place.”

Qi Mohan has some faith. Why can the two little kids pull, so many things back and forth freely, and they weigh as much as those goods, so why can’t the two of them bring him there?

The two little ones also hoped that their uncle could go over and save their sister. They both used Qi Mohan to remind them and held their hands tightly.

As a result, the two of them successfully went to Si Si’s place, but Qi Mohan was still where he was……

The two little ones quickly turned back and pulled Qi Mohan harder, but the result was still unchanged.

Qi Mohan discovered that when the two little dogs left, an inexplicable force would appear, pulling them together and forcing them apart. It was because of this that they couldn’t follow him to Si Si’s place.

Thinking of this, Qi Mohan simply found some hemp ropes and asked Imperial Concubine Yun to tie her and the two little hands together tightly, so that they would not be separated again.

Qi Mohan followed the two little ones and prepared to enter the door again. Both of them looked very nervous at the moment.

Because we know very well that success depends on this one move.

Unexpectedly, while waiting for a few people to move, Han Yi heard a report from outside: “Master, Prince Heng, and Prince Jin are asking for an audience.”

Qi Mohan moved and hesitated: “Why are they here?”

This reaction was understandable. Although Prince Heng and Prince Jin were his brothers, since they arrived in their respective fiefdoms, they had never had any contact. The two of them braved the rain late at night. At this point, it was not as simple as coming to visit.

After thinking about it, Si Si’s life and death were still uncertain. No matter what the two people came to see him for, it was not as important as what they had to do now.

“Let them wait in the living room first, and tell them that I have important matters to attend to. I will see them later.”

Han Yi knew that their master had been in a peaceful state today, and nothing troublesome had happened in the entire Qiushui City. Especially when the weather was beautiful and the rain had stopped, which was a big surprise for anyone. It was a good thing.

But their masdidn’tsn’t sleep late at night and stayed in the two children’s room. How could he look like he was doing something important?

Han Yi only made a slanderous statement in his heart, but he obeyed his master’s decision. He agreed and went to the living room to make arrangements.

Seeing that her son was about to go to Si Si’s place with the two little ones, Imperial Concubine Yun couldn’t help but remind her: “Mohan, as the saying goes, if you go to the Three Treasures Hall without anything, Prince Heng and Prince Jin must have something important to do here late at night. Do you want to go take a look first?”

Qi Mohan said in a doubtful tone: “I, I have to go to Miss Si Si to make sure everything is okay.”

Imperial Concubine Yun was also worried about Si Si. She just reminded her son. Since her son insisted, she had nothing to say.

Qi Mohan glanced nervously: “Qing’er, Mujin, hold uncle’s hand, let’s set off.”

The two little ones nodded firmly towards Qi Mohan and stepped into the door.

Qi Mohan was also nervous and closed his eyes tightly.

As a result……

This time, Qi Mohan didn’t pass by, and even the two little ones stayed where they were.

But even so, they still felt that their foreheads had hit something hard, and the pain was so much that tears were about to flow out from their eyes.

Xiao Qing raised her head and said with tears: “Uncle, it’s not good, Qing’er’s head hurts from being touched.”

Xiao Mujin also sighed like a human: “Uncle, I think me and my sister should go there and wait for sister to come back?”

Qi Mohan looked completely lost, and could only ask his mother to help him untie the rope and let the two little ones go alone.

Imperial Concubine Yun was also very disappointed when she saw this. She was worried that Si Si would be in danger.

At the same time, she was aware now of a big problem. Her son had developed feelings for Si Si and had even reached the level of love between a man and a woman.

Originally, she thought that Si Si and Qi Mohan were from two different worlds. Although she also liked the girl, her reason kept reminding her that there was no possibility for these two to get together.

Therefore, she would secretly give Qi Mohan a warning to avoid getting stuck and unable to extricate himself.
