Chapter 260: The girl is overjoyed

Gu Zhang shook his head, “You think too simply. It’s not easy to get a household registration. Spending money is a small matter. I guess I have to find a way.”

Eldest Aunt smiled, “What’s the big deal? Xiao Fei knows the young prince, so getting a household registration is not a big deal.”

Gu Zhang was still in the dark, “What young prince?”

Gu Fei’s kips twitched, “Dad, do you still remember Brother Shitou? His master is the young prince.”

Gu Zhang suddenly realized, “So that’s the case. I wondered why such a heavy gift was given when the inn opened that day.”

Hey, that’s not right. Even if it’s the young prince, he shouldn’t give such a heavy gift. There’s no friendship between them.

Gu Fei quickly changed the subject, “If we want to settle down, we don’t need him. I guess Young Master Zhu and Young Master Zhou have some connections in the government. If we decide, I will ask them. I guess we will have to pay some money.”

Seeing that the Eldest Sister was willing to settle down, Gu Rong quickly said, “I will follow my second brother anyway. If my second brother settles down, I will settle down.”

Gu Zhang looked at him helplessly. This third brother has been like this since he was a child. He listens to him in everything.

Alas, he has no opinion of his own.

Everyone discussed for a while, and Gu Zhang also figured it out. He planned to pass down the skill of raising pearls for thousands of generations. When he returned to his hometown, there was a small drought every three years and a big drought every ten years, and there was no pond for him to raise pearls.

It seems that he has to settle down in Ping’an City.

Soon, Mrs. Chen and Li Chunhua prepared the meal. They didn’t ask the Eldest Uncle and Gu Rong to go back, and had a meal together.

At the dinner table, everyone made up their minds to settle down!

As for Gu Zhong’s family, let them do whatever they want.

Gu Zhong got the news from Gu Rong in the evening.

He felt wronged. He was the only one left out by his brothers and sisters.

Why was he not liked by them?

He muffledly told to Gu Rong, “If you want to settle down, you can’t leave my family behind. After all, I am your eldest brother, and so is your second brother. You planted hot peppers and asked me to plant with you.”

Gu Rong smiled and patted his shoulder, “Brother, don’t blame your second brother. You can only blame your sister-in-law.”

“My sister-in-law is so temperamental. She either wants to take advantage of others or instigates others to make trouble. Everyone wants to stay away from her. If people get close to her, they will be in trouble.”

“Don’t worry, Xiao Fei said that she will teach everyone what snacks to make. If you listen to Xiao Fei, you will make money.”

Gu Zhong felt better, “Then don’t leave my family behind again!”

Gu Fei entered the city early the next morning. When she entered the city, she saw a blacksmith shop. She gave the blacksmith the pattern of the barbecue rack she drew. She asked him to make one first to see how it looks. If there is no problem, she would buy a few more.

Then, Gu Fei went to Young Master Zhou’s house next door and gave him a bag of freshly picked peppers. She asked him and Young Master Zhu to come to the restaurant for dinner in the evening and cook some fresh dishes for them.

Young Master Zhou was pleased, “That’s great. I’ll ask your Sister Dan, to come over earlier and learn to cook some pepper dishes from you. Don’t worry, I’ll eat them at home and won’t spread them outside.”

Gu Fei laughed, “Okay, you ask Sister Dan to come over earlier.”

A neatly dressed old woman came in after she returned to the restaurant.

As soon as she came in, she smiled at Gu Fei: “Miss, you look delighted.”

Gu Fei looked at her inexplicably.

The old woman smiled mysteriously: “The girl’s name is Lanzhi, right? Someone asked me to propose marriage to you!”

“I was originally going to look for your family, but I heard that your parents had passed away. I had no choice but to tell you.”
