Chapter 120: Little Master (Part 3)

Many people were attracted by Lin Qingyin’s cool fortune-telling skills, while some were shocked by her age. They didn’t expect this fortune-telling master to be so young. Some people were fascinated by Lin Qingyin’s good looks. They felt that her appearance has the “fairy spirit” of China.

The click rate of Li Wei’s video soared within a few days. Many people were concerned about whether she could follow the master’s instructions to find the ring. Li Wei took a week’s leave to return to the United States, and on Christmas Day, she and her friends came to Jie’s cemetery.

A friend opened an online live broadcast system, while Li Wei placed the flowers she brought in front of the tombstone, and then went to the tree on the left side of the cemetery. The tree was a few years old, and Li Wei saw at a glance that there was a bump the size of a baby’s fist near the ground below the trunk.

She picked up the small shovel she brought and dug into the protruding part. Because it had been five years, and the ground below was already very solid, Li Wei took a lot of effort to dig it out. After digging seven or eight times in a row, a small white ring was exposed. Li Wei threw the shovel instantly upon seeing this scene, knelt on the ground, and dug out the ring.

After being buried in the ground for five years, the ring has lost its luster, but Li Wei looked at the ring engraved with her and Jie’s names as if she had dug up the best treasure in the world. She held it tightly in the palm of her hand and burst into tears.

In the live broadcast room, some were moved to tears silently, some were excited to call the fortune-telling master, and some video experts immediately posted live video clips to social networking sites.

This video was quickly spread on major websites, and students studying in the imperial capital and who knew Lin Qingyin left messages below. Gradually, the video spread from the Internet to mainland of China. One morning, Jiang Wei got up, brushed his teeth, and then browsed Weibo. A video jumped into his eyes again and again.

“Fortune-Telling Master of China?” Jiang Wei clicked in. After a few minutes, he turned off the phone with a dazed expression: “I didn’t expect that the little master had calculated the hexagrams for several years, and now became popular abroad.”

It was spread from the external network to the internal network. Netizens were amazed when they saw the edited video. Some people were curious and followed the clues. They found a lot of forum posts all about this master, especially in Qi City and Qindao. It was said that the most expensive residential areas in these two places were specially designed by Master Lin herself.

What was more surprising thing was that Master Lin was only in her freshman year, and she was the top student in the college entrance examination in Qi Province and was admitted to Imperial College with an almost full mark score. There were also netizens in Qi City and students from Imperial College who posted her photos online. Her appearance was shown 360 degrees without cut ends, which showed her fair and tender skin that seem to be able to squeeze out water.

Netizens who eat melon have expressed their injustice. This Lin Qingyin was the product of God’s meticulous craftsmanship, and they were just God’s random ideas. Everyone was born and raised by their parents, so why such a big gap in life?

Seeing that Lin Qingyin’s fame was getting bigger and bigger, and more and more news spreads on the Internet, some Media came to take pictures of Lin Qingyin. However, they walked around campus for several days, but they didn’t find the person.

    1. Don’t really like how her fame exploded. These touching moments are ruined for me cause of them streaming it. Well, the first case is kinda more understandable, I suppose so? Second case, got further there. Not sure how the rest will go but if anything, probably more or less the same.

      1. Yeah. Li Wei’s story is quite tearjerker. But, how there’s a time gap between the divination and the ring discovery… Some people would still insist that it’s staged. Some people who know her and Jie’s grave might even dig the ring out after seeing the video online, before LW come. Fortunately, no one dig it out before her. If LW can ignore those noises, it’s good for her. But, to have such private emotional moment smeared by dirty speculations and assumptions, I still feel it’s disrespectful. Imo, it’s too sacred of a moment and the popularity gained from sharing it is not worth it.

Also, what’s wrong with those people who shared LQY’s pictures and location all over the net?! Don’t they know it’s a breach of privacy?!
