Chapter 82: Zou Ning (Part 5)

Zou Ning was a little bit embarrassed when he thought of his childish behavior before, but now was not the time to be hypocritical. If there was anyone, this person will be He Zhenwei.

“Uncle He, can we talk?” Seeing He Zhenwei’s surprised eyes, Zou Ning smiled bitterly: “Only you can save my mother.”

Hearing Zou Ning mentioned his mother, He Zhenwei’s expression immediately became serious: “This western restaurant is a restaurant under my name, let’s go in and talk.”

He Zhenwei and Zou Ning’s mother, Shu Ran, grew up together. He Zhenwei has always liked this neighbor’s little sister who was as pure as an angel, but Shu Ran has fallen in love with Zou Hai, whom she met after taking shelter from the rain. At that time, Zou Hai was tall and handsome, with a trace of ruffian flavor. He was very different from the gentlemen she knew. This novelty made Shu Ran quickly fall in love. And as soon as she graduated, she married Zou Hai.

He Zhenwei went abroad after Shu Ran got married and didn’t come back until 5 years ago. Zou Ning didn’t know whether He Zhenwei was married abroad, but he was very sensitive. He felt He Zhenwei’s feeling for his mother was more than being friends. Even if He Zhenwei was just visiting as a friend, Zou Ning always shows off his parent’s love. At the same time, he ridiculed him again and again.

Thinking of what he had done before, Zou Ning was a little embarrassed and regretful. If he knew that his father was this kind of person, he might as well support He Zhenwei to snatch his mother. It was much better than his mother being locked up in the mental hospital for 3 years.

He Zhenwei realized that Zou Ning was in a bad mood. He asked the waiter to serve him a hot chocolate and a steak. Zou Ning took a few sips of hot chocolate. His cold stomach warmed up and his mood eased a lot.

“Actually, a fortune-telling master instructed me to go this way.” Zou Ning looked at He Zhenwei with a low tone: “I always thought my mother was already dead for the past 3 years…”

Unlike Zou Hai, a phoenix man, the He Family has a good background in Qindao. When he first returned to China, he would visit Shu Ran once a month, but when he discovered that Zou Ning was very disgusted with him when visiting his mother, he changed it to once every 6 months. Later on, he couldn’t see her. Shu Ran didn’t like him visiting her. Out of a gentleman’s manner, he didn’t bother her anymore. But who would have thought that Zou Hai will lock her in the mental hospital?

He Zhenwei was furious and couldn’t help gritted his teeth. He didn’t expect that the girl he had been protecting since he was a child would be insulted like this. If the old couple Shu know this, how distressed would they be?

After taking a deep look at Zou Ning, He Zhenwei calmly said: “If this is true, I will send your father to prison.”

“I know.” Zou Ning said calmly, “I won’t regret it. Because I can’t forgive what my dad did. From the time I can remember, my dad went out early and returned late. He rarely stayed at home. I grew up under my mother’s care and encouragement. My dad didn’t know how much my mom meant to me. He thought he could use the excuse that my mom died to prevaricate me, but he didn’t know that I could live with no father, but I couldn’t live without my mother.”

He Zhenwei’s eyes softened a little. He stretched out his hand and patted Zou Ning’s shoulder: “Don’t worry, I will arrange everything. Tomorrow with the fortune-telling master, we will pick your mother and bring her home.”

Feeling the strength on his shoulders, Zou Ning felt relieved and nodded heavily.

Early the next morning, He Zhenwei drove Zou Ning to the gate of the seaside villa to pick up Lin Qingyin. They will go to the mental hospital to save people, if she brought too many people, they will be too conspicuous. So Lin Qingyin didn’t take Fatty Wang and the others. She got into He Zhenwei’s car alone.
