Chapter 91: Wang Yin (Part 1)

Wang Yin looked at the golden tortoiseshell in Lin Qingyin’s hand seriously. She didn’t even dare to breathe. She nervously watched Lin Qingyin put three ancient coins in the shell, and shook the three ancient coins smoothly. After shaking six times in a row, Lin Qingyin closed looked at the result, and slightly frowned: “Does your mother-in-law believe in something?”

“No?” Wang Yin said uncertainly, “Usually, I don’t see her burning incense or worshipping Buddha at home.”

Lin Qingyin hooked her finger, and spiritual energy drew the butterfly in front of Guoguo. Guoguo chased the butterfly and ran back to the bamboo pavilion. Lin Qingyin beckoned to him and asked with a smile: “Guoguo come close to sister. Sister has something to ask you.”

Zheng Yingguo liked the beautiful sister in front of him very much. He felt that she had a good scent on her body. For a child with a physique like Zheng Yingguo, who was sensitive to spiritual energy, Lin Qingyin was particularly attractive to him, and he can’t wait to stick to her.

Lin Qingyin touched his head: “Guoguo, where did your grandma like to take you when she took care of you before?”

“Go shopping for food, soak her feet, and like to go to the lectures.” Guoguo frowned and said: “I don’t like the place where I listen to the lectures. There is a strange smell in there, it smells bad.”

Wang Yin grabbed Guoguo’s hand and asked nervously, “What lectures did grandma listen to?”

Guoguo’s little face was wrinkled. Obviously, it was difficult for him to describe the content of the lectures with his current comprehension ability. He thought about it carefully, but it really made him think of one thing: “The person who is teaching grandma was the old man who quarreled with dad last time in the wetland park.”

Wang Yin’s face changed all of a sudden. The last time they were in Wetland Park, the whole family was in a mess because of what the old man said. She still remembered her mother-in-law’s desperate look. What’s more, when Guoguo was born, her mother-in-law took care of her, and she was very concerned about her food intake and bathed her every day, so she never suspected that her mother-in-law would have bad intentions against Guoguo.

Lin Qingyin put the tortoiseshell in her palm and stroked it twice: “Guoguo’s physique is very rare. The yang energy in his body is a great supplement for some crooked people. Because he is still young, the yang energy in his body is still insufficient. He is just like an immature fairy grass. Although it is effective, it would be a waste to use it early, so they patiently brainwashed your mother-in-law while waiting for the opportunity to come.”

Wang Yin’s lips turned a little purple from biting. She never thought that her beloved son would be treated like herbs, and she never thought that her mother-in-law would be so confused and believe these things.

Lin Qingyin thought about how to comfort her for a while and said: “You should be glad that this group of people are all clowns, who are thieves but have no guts of the thieves. They are afraid that things will get bigger and they will be caught, so they have partnered with your mother-in-law to perform such a play. As for your mother-in-law, she is really stupid, she really believes what the old man said.”

Wang Yin took two deep breaths: “No matter what, I can’t let her contact Guoguo anymore. When this is over, I will send the old couple back. I will resign and don’t work anymore, I will not let anyone else take care of Guoguo anymore.”

Lin Qingyin held Guoguo’s small hand in her hand, input a trace of spiritual energy, and saw the situation in his body clearly. Even in the realm of self-cultivation, this child was a rare good seedling. Not to mention that in this age of lacking spiritual energy, he was really a rare existence.

Lin Qingyin hasn’t accepted any serious disciples in this era, Zheng Yingguo was a good choice. It’s just that the disciples of the Divine Taoist Sect must not only need to have the talent for cultivation but also have the ability to sense the way of heaven.

  1. Ah, the talent to see the way of heaven. I almost forgot that her sect was a sect focused on divination and she was the sect master. When she choose a direct disciple, ofc she has to look their talent for divination on top of their cultivation talent. That’s why she didn’t take the single wood spiritual root boy as her apprentice, nor she easily take disciple all this years.
