Chapter 132: Real and Fake dreams (Part 1)

At the high-end villa in Fencheng.

A middle-aged man with bald temples was lying on the bed with his eyes closed.

He seemed to be haunted by a nightmare. He was no longer the kind-hearted man behind the screen and in the photos. He was sweating, and his face was full of ferocious flesh.

He murmured: “Don’t kill me… I, I was wrong!”

“I admit that I stole your painting… I am a beast! I am worse than pigs and dogs… Ah!!”

With a scream, the middle-aged man suddenly woke up from his dream.

His pupils shrank, and he jumped up from the bed trembling all over, and fell to the side of the bed.

After taking a few breaths, he gradually recovered and relaxed a little.

It turned out to be a dream.

But what he didn’t notice was that the screen of the mobile phone placed on the bed without any messages or incoming calls suddenly lit up, and a thin layer of frost slowly formed on the back of the phone case.

The invisible rotten air continued to overflow from it, and soon the temperature of the whole room began to drop.

The invisible yin energy gathered into a formation, making the environment, which was already closed and light-free, even darker.

At this moment, the closed door of the room was knocked from outside, and the nervous middle-aged man trembled again, looking towards the door with a fierce look on his face.

“Who?!”

“A’Min, are you okay? What happened to you in there?”

The voice outside the room was that of a vicissitudes old man.

Hearing that it was his father’s familiar voice, Hai Ming, who was slumped on the bed, breathed a sigh of relief and said impatiently:

“Didn’t I tell you not to knock on the door if you have nothing to do? It’s just a nightmare, it’s okay.”

The old man outside the house hesitated and called twice, wanting his son to come out for dinner.

After being yelled at by his son in the house, he sighed turned away, and sat on the sofa in the living room.

The changes in the family during this period can be regarded as earth-shaking.

His son Hai Ming won a world award, and many news media reported it extensively, and everyone praised him online.

Relatives who were not related to him at all called to express their joy and compliments, saying that his son was going to become a great painter;

The most obvious change was that after two or three months of becoming famous, their three-bedroom apartment house was replaced by a four-story villa. When the family held a housewarming party, relatives and friends were either envious or flattering, which made Father Hai earn enough face.

Under the glamorous and bright, Father Hai gradually found that his son had changed and became more and more strange.

He often locked himself in the room, saying something like “prophecy” and “revenge”…

Once, when he wanted to clean up the room for him and pushed the door open, his forehead was severely broken by his son with red eyes.

Later, the son explained: “I have been having nightmares recently. Sometimes, when I haven’t figured out whether it is a dream or reality, Dad suddenly breaks into my room, which can easily hurt you by mistake! Don’t enter my room casually in the future!”

After hearing what Hai Ming said, Father Hai not only did not accept it happily but became more worried.

Who can’t tell the difference between dreaming and reality?

But as long as he persuaded him a few more times, his son would be very annoyed and ask him not to disturb him, saying that his dreams could inspire inspiration and help him to paint.

Hearing the noise just now, his son had another ‘nightmare’……

Inside the room.

After perfunctorily dealing with his father, Hai Ming wiped the sweat from his forehead, his face gloomy, picked up the crumpled paper and pen on the bedside, and recorded the scene in his dream just now.

“Today, you can’t open the door, or you will die.”

Eight days ago, Hai Ming was just a ‘famous painter’ who gained both fame and fortune and whose value skyrocketed. The dividends brought to him by the World Painting Award were long-lasting and high-yield.

At the same time, it also made him particularly troubled.

The personal style of “Vortex” was too prominent, and it was not the type he was good at all.

But after winning the award, his teacher recommended him to join the presidium, which was full of highly skilled and internationally renowned artists, all waiting for him to produce new works and hold exhibitions.

Hai Ming found the homework that He Zhaosheng had submitted before and the scraps of manuscript paper he left behind, and tried to imitate a few of them, but he couldn’t get it right.

He was anxious and terrified, and the most despicable jealousy of his student’s talent that had been hidden in his heart spread like wild weeds.

Yes, Hai Ming was jealous of He Zhaosheng’s talent for painting.

How could a country bumpkin who had never left the country and had no famous teachers have such a talent? God was so unfair.

Due to the urging of international organizations, Hai Ming was in a state of panic during that period.

He also heard about a “prophet” who was said to be very accurate on the Internet, but he didn’t believe it at all and sneered at it.

Until that night, he began to have bizarre dreams, dreaming of the same predicted content as the prophecy notes on the Internet.

At the same time, the police report was also passed to the school, and everyone knew that the family of the first-class full professor in the school died in a car accident on the Fengcheng Cross-River Bridge!

After two days of strange dreams, Hai Ming became more and more certain that he seemed to be favored by the “God”.

He was ecstatic and terrified.

The reason for his joy was that he got a lot of inspiration in his dream.

Those cleverly conceived and brightly colored paintings seemed to pop out of his mind out of thin air. After waking up, he copied them based on his memory, just in time to deal with the upcoming exhibition that he couldn’t avoid.

These inspirations were guided by God.

The reason for feeling scared was that Hai Ming predicted the death of others in his dream. In his dream, he saw that the murderer who killed everyone was He Zhaosheng!

The young man who should have died long ago became a ghost who wanted to take his life. He was unwilling to go to the underworld and had been seeking revenge on everyone.

He knew clearly that He Zhaosheng would not let him go, and would kill him sooner or later like he killed others.

Gradually, as the number of nightmares about He Zhaosheng increased, Hai Ming kept dreaming that he died at the hands of He Zhaosheng, and he began to have mental problems.

He began to be unable to distinguish between reality and dreams.

Sometimes the surrounding environment was clearly at home and very real, but when he turned his head, he saw He Zhaosheng’s face, which was bruised from hanging, staring at him with a gloomy look behind him.

Hai Ming, who was frightened to the point of fainting, shuddered and opened his eyes to find that he had just dreamed.

Fortunately, he was different from others.

Hai Ming firmly believed that prophetic dreams were the opportunity given to him by the “gods” to fight back.

He must be able to predict He Zhaosheng’s movements in advance and avoid risks. These days, he locked himself up at home and muttered to himself because of this matter.

Just now, when he was taking a nap, he dreamed of his death.

It was today!

In the dream, Hai Ming was lying at home sleeping.

The first time the bedroom door was knocked, he opened the door and saw a cousin standing outside. Just when he was wondering how the cousin could come, the other party smiled grimly, took out a knife, and stabbed him to death.

It turned out that the cousin was the ghost of He Zhaosheng in disguise.

Hai Ming was still in the bedroom after being awakened. He just breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the bedroom door knock again. It was his father’s voice outside the door.

Hai Ming, who was relieved, dragged his tired body to open the door. As a result, his cousin stood next to his father outside the door: “Your cousin is here to see you.”

The second time, Hai Ming was stabbed to death again. Before he died, he saw the cousin’s face turned into He Zhaosheng’s face.

He realized that he was not awake and was still trapped in a dream.

The third time, Hai Ming heard the knock on the door, he picked up the knife prepared in the house, stabbed his finger, and found that it didn’t hurt even if it bled, so he was sure that he was dreaming.

After opening the door, he chopped down and killed his cousin, but was stabbed from behind by his “father”.

He didn’t open the door for the fourth time. Confirming that he was still in a dream, Hai Ming opened the window and jumped down, and “woke up”.

The fifth time he woke up was not in the bedroom but in the living room.

There were knocks on the door outside. It was his cousin.

He did not let his “father” open it, and argued with his “father”…

After dying in his dream about ten times, Hai Ming finally woke up with difficulty.

He fell hard under the bed, his coccyx was dull and painful, but the clear pain made him sure that he was not in a dream.

Hai Ming got up from the ground, took out the knife from the bedside table held it tightly, and locked the bedroom door again.

He decided that he would never step out of the door today.

He picked up his mobile phone, and his fingers were frozen by the low temperature of the mobile phone.

After opening the software, Hai Ming found that “Death Note” had been updated, just ten minutes ago.

In the new prophecy, there is still a death case, but the cause of death was ‘unknown, and pending’.
