Of course, she was not basing it on this, but on the strong causal power of the crazy woman.
But she couldn’t explain this, because others couldn’t feel it, and they wouldn’t believe that she, a little mystic master, could have such an ability.
Bai Ci said: “I can try it, but there is no guarantee of success. It is difficult to cure mental problems.”
While communicating, the staff and Zheng Xiaona, standing nearby, looked confused. Under Gu Zhisang’s shielding, the others could only see the contestants’ mouths moving but could not hear any sounds.
Zheng Xiaona: “Are they talking?”
The two villagers looked at each other, a little nervous, wondering what these people were doing.
Bai Ci stepped forward, put his fingertips gently against the two ends of the crazy woman’s temples, and used his ability to guide it.
At first, the crazy woman struggled fiercely, but gradually as Bai Ci’s ability took effect, she relaxed and calmed down, but she could still not react.
Gu Zhisang was not disappointed either.
The reason why she needed help from others was because she needed to get some clues that could solve the mystery.
But the ‘black mist’ on this woman’s body was too thick. As soon as she touched the crazy woman, these powers attacked her crazily.
After the crazy woman calmed down, Daisy stepped forward and gently held the crazy woman’s rough and chapped hand, then she closed her eyes to try to see her past.
Gu Zhisang: “How is it? Did you see anything?”
Daisy frowned, “…her thoughts are too twisted, everything is twisted into chaos. All I feel in this woman is pain, despair, and deep resentment. I can feel that there is a memory hidden deeply in the depths of her mind. It must be very important to her, but there is a very strange power preventing me from exploring it. Like… like a pair of eyes from a higher dimension in the abyss staring at me.”
When she said this, beads of sweat appeared on her cheeks, and she looked a little painful.
The two villagers couldn’t sit still anymore, so they stood up and came over: “Dear guests, what are you doing?”
The remaining people, He Mitu and the others squinted their eyes, then blocked the two of them calmly: “They are treating her and cannot be disturbed.”
Daisy, who was holding the mad woman’s hand, gritted her teeth and forced herself to touch that area.
The scene she saw at that moment was extremely impactful: “Blood… there is blood flowing. Several people wearing clothes similar to Xun Yiqing’s are inside of the small room. There were men and women, it seemed like they were holding a ceremony. What kind of ceremony is this? She was chained, and then…then those people worshiped the statue with great respect.”
Gu Zhisang’s eyes were burning: “What kind of statue? What does it look like?”
Daisy’s teeth were trembling slightly, and she couldn’t describe it. The crazy woman who shared her feelings also saw the resentment deep in her memory at this moment, and her originally calm face began to suffer and struggle.
“Yes, that statue is…”
As she spoke, a drop of blood suddenly overflowed from under Daisy’s nose. Upon seeing this, Gu Zhisang grabbed Daisy’s shoulders and used her soul power to block the extraordinarily sinister and cunning spirit attacking her.
It was at this moment that she ‘saw’ what Daisy ‘saw’.
It was a statue with long arms, a bronze body, and colorful clothes. The head was carved into many faces, each with a small, completely different face.
Some were sad, angry, excited, vicious… vivid, and lifelike.
The moment Gu Zhisang looked at it, it disappeared.
Daisy suddenly let go, took two steps back, and raised her hand to wipe the blood under her nose. The contestants next to her looked serious when they saw this: “Are you okay?”
She shook her head and looked at Gu Zhisang, “I’m fine, but Sangsang…”
At the last moment, she could feel that it was Gu Zhisang who blocked something for her.
“I’m fine too.”
Gu Zhisang, whose face turned slightly pale, opened her eyes and finally showed her first sincere smile today: “I got it.”
The moment she saw the statue, all the obstacles in front of her and covering her eyes were defeated.
The black fog on the crazy woman’s face gradually dissipated, revealing an extremely clear fate line, waiting for people to interpret her past life.
Gu Zhisang spoke sincerely: “Thank you very much for today.”
Bai Ci and Daisy both waved their hands and said: “We didn’t do anything…”
Several contestants were stunned.
They wonder if it was their misunderstanding. Gu Zhisang, who had always been mysterious and unpredictable, seemed to be less cold and indifferent to others right now.
Without the obstruction of the ‘black mist’, the power of cause and effect on the crazy woman became even more terrifying.
Feeling this power, Gu Zhisang paused for a moment and began to interpret her face.
Once some things were taken care of, they were destined to be tainted with cause and effect.
But it must be done.

The two villagers were still a little confused when they walked out of the village committee with the crazy woman who had calmed down.
They called the village chief Wu Feng: “Brother, we took her out.”
Wu Feng asked: “Where are those people? Did they find anything?”
“They didn’t find anything. She stopped acting crazy, but she still couldn’t remember anything. Those mystic masters were quite disappointed and maybe impatient. After that, they said they are hungry and want to eat. I found a private room for them and ordered food.”
Wu Feng on the other end of the phone breathed a sigh of relief: “That’s good. After they finish eating, send them out of here.”
The villager curled his lips and said: “I don’t think these people are very impressive, and they don’t seem to be filming live broadcasts. Why are you so afraid of them? We just have to smash their cameras and lock them up. With the boss protecting us, the police outside wouldn’t be able to do anything to us.”
Wu Feng frowned and said: “Don’t be stupid. These people are from a big show. If something happens to them here, we will get into trouble. Just let them leave as they came.”
“Okay, okay…”
At this moment, another villager hurried over and said: “Brother, those people seemed to have disappeared out of thin air! I was squatting in the store, and I was a little suspicious when I heard no movement in the room. But when I opened the door, no one was there!”
Wu Feng: “?!!”
The Villager: “?!!”
The evening sky in Xiaoyan Village was orange.
The fiery clouds in the sky were like a red sea, carrying an aura of depression and chilling.
Everyone in the village was preparing dinner, and the roads in the village were silent for a while.
A skinny boy was sitting in the yard playing with his mobile phone, playing funny videos. He was the boy with a male duck’s voice who mocked Erya this afternoon, and also who beat the crazy woman.
An older girl than him was cooking in the kitchen, but he shouted impatiently: “Sister, can you hurry up? I’m going to starve to death!”
The old lady with missing teeth in the room pursed her lips when she heard the voice: “You damn girl, are you going to starve your brother to death?”
After she finished cooking, the girl was already sweating profusely from the heat. After setting the dishes, the old lady and the boy sat down on the table with great pride.
“Go inside and call your father to eat. Why are you holding a bowl?” The old lady yelled.
The girl’s voice was timid: “G-give her some dinner…”
The old lady said nonchalantly: “There are some leftover buns from yesterday. Giving fresh vegetables to such an ungrateful bitch is a waste of food. Go get those buns for her.”
The girl remained silent without any rebuttal, and just left in a muffled voice.
At this moment, the door of the house was kicked open from the outside, and a loud bang startled the people in the yard.
The old lady jumped up: “Who are you? Robbers and bandits?!”
The eyes of the boy with the male duck’s voice widened. He recognized these people as the people who appeared on the path at the end of the village in the afternoon.
Because that road can only be used by people who come to pick up the goods, the children thought they were the “partners” in the village. After returning home later, they learned that these people were reporters filming programs from other provinces.
“You……”
The person who kicked open the door was the most eye-catching woman in the group. Her eyes were clear and cold, which was still fresh in people’s memory.
“Sangsang, isn’t this bad? We have no evidence…” Host Liu lowered his voice and tried to dissuade her frantically.
He didn’t know what Gu Zhisang said to the other contestants. They came here in an aggressive manner, and now they kicked in the door and forced their way into the house!
Gu Zhisang sneered: “It’s okay, Brother Liu, this matter has nothing to do with you.”
She was neither a member of the spiritual group nor a member of the Taoist Sect. She was unfettered and had no scruples.
Now that she decided to take control, she doesn’t want to waste saliva and just go straight to the hinterland with these people.
She walked straight into the courtyard and was about to go to the hidden living room. Seeing this, the old lady wanted to stop her but was frightened by the look in her eyes.
When the door was pushed open, everyone was stunned by the scene behind the door.
They saw a messy place in the innermost corner of the living room. There was a thin mattress and blanket on the floor. An unkempt and dazed woman was sitting on the mattress. She was as thin as a chain around her neck. She looked like her bones would be broken at any moment.
The other end of the chain was fused to the wall.
There was a basin in front of her, which contained three or two hard cold steamed buns and a bowl of dirty water. When she heard the movement and saw people, her numb brain was unable to react.
A petrified girl leaned against the wall and looked at Gu Zhisang with horror on her face.
Seeing this scene, the eyes of all the contestants turned cold, while Daisy and Xi Haihong gritted their teeth:
“Bastard!”
The fat man who heard the noise hurriedly came out of the back room. Seeing this scene, he knew that the matter was exposed. He picked up the shovel in the corner and was about to hit Gu Zhisang on the head.
Gu Zhisang didn’t even look at him. After avoiding his attack, she raised her foot and kicked him in the chest. She kicked the fat man three or four meters away and threw him to the ground.
The old lady cried out, “Oh my gosh” and threw herself on her son, crying.

Gu Zhisang Is not afraid of using violence.
Those kidnappers, traffickers, and crazy cult members all in one deserve the violence. GZS is very emotional right now. She can’t help it.
I’m guessing the crazy lady is the lost sister, and if so, I feel so bad that she suffered such a horrible fate. I can only hope the rest of the villagers that participated in all the trafficking, whether directly or indirectly, will face serious retribution along with the Taoists who performed those cultist rituals.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
