Chapter 80: Travelled a thousand miles away to find a relative II (Part 3)

This group of people had no bones left and were difficult to trace.

Among the people captured, many border criminals were not from the Xia Country.

The overseas list in their hands was even more valuable information. Perhaps those who have been displaced outside the country will be brought back to this land shortly.

As for the driving force behind this huge case involving Southern Province and surrounding areas, it also surfaced during the investigation.

Among these Taoist Masters were evil cultivators, foreigners who entered the Xia Country from abroad, and the deputy minister of the Taoist Sect branch of the Southern Province.

The crimes they committed were too numerous to describe.

The reason why these ‘arrogant’ and self-proclaimed mystical masters were willing to condescend to deal with a group of stupid ordinary people, and even set up a formation to help and support their trafficking business, which made the people of the two villages survive for more than ten years and formed a huge criminal gang, was……

All because of their shameful selfish desires.

Through the investigation of the Special Spiritual Department Group, it was found that these mystical masters would select children both male and female with special characteristics, spiritual senses, or talents from the abducted population, and use secret techniques to deprive them of their spiritual senses to speed up their advancement.

Some people used and tested Gu worms or refined medicine… Such creepy and insidious methods caused an uproar in the entire metaphysical world once the Special Spiritual Department Group announced them.

No need to call for help, all the factions in the metaphysical world were spontaneously looking for those mystical masters.

And because this group of people included a Taoist Master from the Qianqing Sect, they remained unusually silent regarding the Special Spiritual Department Group’s groundbreaking in the Southern Province.

As for the principal criminals such as Wu Feng and Chen Xiangbiao, they will certainly be sentenced to death.

The remaining buyers and sellers will also enter sentencing assessment, which will be a long, but joyful and hopeful process.

Before Gu Zhisang left, she made a special visit to see Wu Feng and Chen Xiangbiao.

For her, the ‘chief culprit’ who had harmed their village, the eyes of the two of them were red in anger. They also gritted their with hatred. If it weren’t for the handcuffs, they would have pounced on her and fought to the death.

Looking at Wu Feng with a sinister expression, Gu Zhisang remained unmoved.

Wu Feng sneered: “Master Gu’s tricks are good. You must be laughing, seeing me, a defeated general! You vicious woman!”

Gu Zhisang’s tone was calm: “Compared to Village Chief Wu, I am far more innocent. Everyone in your village is guilty.”

The villagers who were unwilling to work together and could not accept human trafficking had already moved away from this sinful place with their families.

The remaining people who were still in the village were either complicit in the crime, or they knew it but did not report it and allowed the situation to develop.

These people have made enough money from their long crimes and filled their pockets.

They kept saying that their relatives were innocent, but they never thought that the money squandered by their relatives was the blood and tears of innocent lives.

The most ridiculous thing was that they claimed that they loved the Southern Province and the mountains. They say that the educated girls from other provinces who have worked hard to study were wild and impure, unlike them, who just to spend their fresh lives buried in the mountains.

But when it was their children’s turn, they had to work hard to send them out of the mountains.

How ridiculous?

Gu Zhisang will not judge whether the relatives of these criminals are guilty, but she will not change her decision.

Because the truly pitiable people were the victims of trafficking cases.

Wu Feng said bitterly: “Don’t be proud, you ruined the hard work of those masters, they won’t let you go!”

Gu Zhisang curled her lips slightly and said: “I just want to tell you one thing. The ‘soul replacement curse’ you placed on Zheng Xiaoyan has been broken by me. Soon, you will feel the changes in your body. It’s the backlash from the curse.”

“It will start with skin ulceration and body swelling, and then your internal organs will experience excruciating pain, like being cut by a knife. In the end, you will either die of ulcers all over your body, or you will die of pain. Of course, the process will be very long. You might not be able to wait that long before you’re shot to death.”

She leaned forward slightly and smiled into her eyes: “But to give you a better experience, I used a little trick to accelerate the speed of the backlash. Don’t worry, you will feel good until you die.”

Wu Feng was shocked and angry. He was so horrified by the scene described by Gu Zhisang that his heart trembled.

He doesn’t know if it’s due to his psychological reasons, but he suddenly felt that his skin was itchy now.

Gu Zhisang stood up straight with cold eyes: “The things you stole from Zheng Xiaoyan over the years and the suffering you caused the victims must be paid back firmly.”

After the ‘Soul Replacement Curse’ was lifted, Bai Ci helped Zheng Xiaoyan sort out her mind several times.

Although her current mental state was still not good, and she was not making progress, the old couple of the Zheng family and Zheng Xiaona gratefully picked her up and Erya away.

In about half a year, her consciousness will become clearer and clearer, and there is a high possibility that she will return to normal.

When the time comes, it will be up to her to decide whether to let her child, Erya, stay or go.

When Zheng Xiaoyan escaped that time, Erya was only three years old, and she escaped without any regrets.

After being captured later, Erya was the only person in the Wu Family who took good care of her. Although she heard many people say that her mother abandoned her, she did not hate her mother. She still understood and supported her in her heart, but she did not dare to show it. She only dares to secretly care for her behind her father’s and stepmother’s backs.

Because of this, Zheng Xiaona and her family didn’t have much grudge against her.

Before leaving, Gu Zhisang glanced sideways for a moment:

“By the way, don’t you admire those masters so much that you even sent your son to learn from them?”

Wu Feng’s expression changed: How did she know?!

He always felt that this profession was not suitable for him, and he wanted to wash his hands in a golden basin. He felt that the master above him was very powerful, so he let his son study metaphysics.

Not many people know about this.

Gu Zhisang smiled sympathetically: “I forgot to tell Village Chief Wu one thing. Your son does have some psychic talent, but it’s a pity…”

Those mystical masters who regarded ordinary people as ants were worried about being deprived of good spiritual bodies, but Wu Feng sent people right through their door.

As for moral principles and agreements, will those mystical masters who were worse than animals follow these?

After she turned around and left, bursts of heart-rending screams of pain erupted in the room.

“No! Impossible!! I don’t believe it!”

When Gu Zhisang entered Chen Xiangbiao’s room, he was not as energetic as Wu Feng next door, and he had resigned himself to his fate.

After looking at him for two seconds, Gu Zhisang said: “Chen Xiangbiao, your son and daughter have been found.”

Chen Xiangbiao raised his head fiercely: “You found them?! Did you send them back?”

Gu Zhisang shook her head gently: “They probably won’t be able to come back in a short time. Because they have merged with the bridge on the border.”

What Chen Xiangbiao didn’t know was that his partner at the border had lied to him.

The other party didn’t take the twins away accidentally but on purpose.

The groundbreaking for the new local cross-river bridge was not going smoothly. Local masters said that this was because the river god needed human sacrifices, which were called “bridge keepers.”

According to the master, the “Bridge Keeper” needs a pair of twins a boy and a girl, but no suitable candidates have been found.

To build the bridge smoothly, the local master gave the border partner a very generous reward and asked him to help find suitable candidates.

After searching to no avail, this person set his sights on Chen Xiangbiao’s children.

When Chen Xiangbiao called his partner, his two children had already been taken away by the bridge-building master.

That night, they poured cement on the children and made them into living clay sculptures.

By the time police followed the lead and found the children, the foundation of the bridge had been built, and now it was very difficult to even take out the bodies of the two children……

  1. I feel so sorry for those children! I don’t know if they were innocent or not, considering their father actively participated in the trafficking, but they still don’t deserve such a cruel death. I only hope that Chen Xiangbiao learns the truth so that he can suffer even more from guilt and from the irony of his actions, as he can finally experience the dread that he’s caused to so many other families.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀
