Chapter 25: Open a store?

The person who opened the door was a middle-aged woman. Seeing An Yan, she was very warm and said: “It’s Xiao An. Why did you get off work so early today?”

“I came back because of something. Aunt Hong, is Uncle at home?”

An Yan didn’t know what to say about her experience for a moment, so she had to skip this question.

“He’s at home. He just came back too. Come in.” Li Hongxia gestured towards the small courtyard and familiarly pulled An Yan into the courtyard.

At the living room door, Liang Jianwen was smoking a water pipe with an old-fashioned pipe. When he saw An Yan, he immediately greeted her with a smile: “Xiao An is here. Xiao Min hasn’t come back yet.”

Li Hongxia snarled: “Okay, stop smoking your broken cigarette. Xiao An is here to see you.”

“Looking for me? What’s the matter?” Liang Jianwen put down the pipe in confusion.

An Yan said bluntly: “Uncle, I want you to make a sign. I need it urgently. How soon can I get it?”

“What kind of sign? Do you have any requirements for the wood?”

Liang Jianwen was an experienced carpenter who could do many wood jobs. When he talked about his professional field, his expression became much more serious.

“Just a simple red letter on a wooden background will do.”

An Yan was in a hurry to set up the stall now, so she didn’t have the mind to consider so many details. She will slowly improve it after the business is established in the future.

“Can you tell me more about it?” Liang Jianwen asked.

So, An Yan simply expressed her ideas about the sign.

“An Yan Workshop?” Liang Jianwen was stunned when he heard the name of the sign.

What does this mean?

Li Hongxia had been sitting nearby, and couldn’t help but say when she heard An Yan’s words: “Xiao An, what are you going to do? Are you going to open a store?”

Before An Yan could explain, a clear voice suddenly spoke: “Open a store? Who wants to open a store?”

As soon as Liang Min entered the yard, she only heard the last part of the words and asked casually.

Li Hongxia hurriedly said: “It’s Xiao An’s business, your father and I are listening.”

“No way? Yanyan, you want to open a store? Where do you get the money?”

Hearing this, Liang Min rushed to An Yan in a few steps, and squeezed on a stool with her without any hesitation, with concern and anxiety on her face.

An Yan didn’t mind the sister’s straightforward words at all. She understood Liang Min’s personality, just as she knew her family background.

Looking at the three Liang Family members in front of her with concern, An Yan felt warm in her heart.

Although her loving parents had been gone for more than four years, she was still lucky to have so many people around her who cared about her.

“I quit.”

As soon as she heard the beginning, the straightforward Liang Min started to yell: “Quit? What’s the matter? Why quit when everything is fine? Did someone bully you?”

Although she and An Yan are not from the same university, she knows her affairs very well. She also knows that her good sister is preparing for the pharmacist license exam. It has been more than three months of hard work. How could she quit?

The most important thing was that she knew An Yan’s temperament very well. She was not a person who gave up easily, so the problem was not with An Yan.

Since Uncle An and Aunt Yan passed away in the second year of high school, An Yan has been criticized, scorned, and slandered by female students.

She doesn’t understand. Was it wrong that An Yan was born beautiful?

Just because An Yan was beautiful, she must be a restless bad woman.

What kind of weird logic was this?

How can people be so malicious towards someone because she is more beautiful than them?
