Chapter 48: I will never let this girl go

The layout of the third floor was almost the same as that of the second floor, except that the third bedroom from the left was changed into a glass room by Father Si.

There were no windows in the glass house, but there were several exhaust fans installed above, for the purpose of allowing the old man to enjoy the scenery in winter.

Si Si felt that Wang Yanbo would lock her in the glass room.

Because there were no windows in that room, as long as they guarded the door, there was no possibility of escape.

Sure enough, Si Si was pulled by Wang Yanbo in the hair and rushed straight to the third floor. The latter pulled her into the glass room with a strong force.

“Be honest and don’t try to escape!”

After saying that, Wang Yanbo forcefully closed the door, and Si Si could still hear the sound of the door being locked behind her.

She reached for the light switch from memory and turned on the lights in the room.

The room still has its original furnishings, with a tea table between two wicker chairs in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

Because it had not been taken care of for a long time, it was covered with dust.

On the left side of the room, there was a simple bathroom. In addition, there was a telescope that Grandpa loved most during his lifetime.

Summer has not yet begun, and the temperature on the top of the mountain is already lower than on the ground, but Si Si still feels suffocated in this glass room.

She turned on all the exhaust fans and felt more comfortable.

Immediately afterward, she went to the bathroom to get a rag, wiped a wicker chair, and sat on it.

Facing the endless black clothes at the window, Si Si’s heart was spinning a thousand times.

She didn’t know what she had done wrong. She lost her parents when she was less than twenty years old. She managed to save the mall and planned to live a comfortable life for a few days, but something like this happened again.

Just as Si Si was thinking wildly, the closed door suddenly opened.

Si Chaojing and her husband Wang Jun walked side by side.

In Si Si’s impression, this uncle rarely interacted with the Si Family, and would rarely show up even on special holidays.

He was like this, so she had only seen him once, probably before she was ten years old.

The reason why she could still remember Wang Jun, whom she had only met once, was because there was a long scar on Wang Jun’s right face, which looked very ferocious.

Si Si was frightened when she saw him, and she still remembers it.

Wang Jun’s face was very serious, and Si Si instinctively felt a sense of fear when she saw him.

Si Chaojing, who used to be arrogant and domineering, also seemed trembling in front of him.

Faced with such a scene, she don’t know if Si Chaojing’s conscience showed it or something, but she said to Wang Jun: “Husband, Si Si is still a child after all, don’t scare her.”

Wang Jun didn’t respond and walked step by step toward the room. He sat directly on the wicker chair that Si Si had cleaned, lazily crossed his legs, and lit a cigarette.

He remained silent, and even Wang Yanbo, who was very arrogant just now, didn’t dare to say anything.

Wang Jun took a long puff of cigarette before looking at Si Si, who looked nervous.

“I think you should know why I caught you here.”

Si Si didn’t show any reaction, but it did not affect Wang Jun’s continued saying: “You have done nothing wrong, only your identity has harmed you. You should not be the heir of the Shopping Mall.”

“If you die or disappear, think about it, who will take over the mall?”

Si Si was still clear about this. Her father was the owner of the shopping mall. If her parents died, their only daughter would naturally inherit.

If she didn’t exist, there would be no immediate family members to inherit the father’s property, and it would naturally fall on Si Chaojing’s head, the sister.

Si Si had already thought of the reason why she was captured here, but now that Wang Jun mentioned it, it only played a certain role.

She didn’t need to ask why the other party did this, even a fool would know it was for money.

Now, all she can do is stabilize the other party first, prevent them from hurting herself, and then find a chance to escape.

After having an idea, Si Si just stood there blankly, even looking a little frightened.

When Wang Jun saw Si Si’s performance, he instantly felt that his presence was overwhelming. He didn’t even need to scare her, this girl was just being honest.

He was very satisfied with this.

Wang Jun pressed the cigarette butt hard on the tea table, then stood up and waved toward Si Chaojing and his two sons.

“Let’s go, this girl can’t die now. You guys won’t go back to the city these days, you’ll stay here to take care of her.”

As he said that, he glanced at Si Chaojing worriedly: “You must never be soft-hearted, do you understand?”

Facing Wang Jun’s reminder, Si Chaojing’s eyes dodge a little, but she soon returned to normal: “Don’t worry, husband, I will never let this girl go for the sake of our good future.”

Wang Jun snorted coldly and left the room first.

The door was locked from behind again, and Si Si’s body collapsed on the wicker chair.

Because she knew in her heart that if she wanted to escape here alive, she could only go out through this door. However, with Si Chaojing and her two sons taking turns guarding her, the chance of escape was too slim for her.

She heard Wang Jun’s words just now that they have no plans to kill her yet, she can only make a plan and look for opportunities to escape.

Si Si sat blankly on the wicker chair, looking at the night through the glass in front of her.

At Qi Mohan’s place, after hearing the news that the beautiful sister hadn’t come back so late, everyone was already panicking.

If it were in the past, they would rest at seven in the evening, and not later than the nine.

Tonight was completely different. Even though the two of them were so sleepy that their upper and lower eyelids were fighting, Qi Mohan still asked them to go to Si Si’s place to take a look every once in a while to ensure that Si Si came back safely so that he could feel at ease.

Ever since the two of them had contact with Si Si, Imperial Concubine Yun had moved to live in their courtyard. At this moment, she was also waiting with a sad face.

When she saw Qi Mohan walking around in the room, she couldn’t help but say with relief: “Mohan, Miss Si Si is so kind, nothing will happen to her. She will come back later.”

Qi Mohan frowned deeply: “Mother, it’s almost the end of Hai hour, and I’m really worried that something will happen to her.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Xiao Qing’s figure suddenly appeared. The little girl was still holding Si Si’s phone at home.

“Qing’er, is Miss Si Si back?” Qi Mohan didn’t know how many times he asked this question in one night.

Xiao Qing pursed her lips and almost cried.

“Uncle, my sister didn’t come back. It was her phone that kept singing. Qing’er imitated the Sister and slid the green button, and an uncle’s voice came from it.”

Qi Mohan didn’t know that the machine had communication capabilities, and he didn’t even care about why the thing could sing and what uncle’s voice would come from it.

What he was most concerned about now was whether there was any news about Si Si.
