Chapter 129: I promised him not to tell

Qin Hongfei saw that Xia Shangxu was unwilling to say it, and at the same time, she didn’t take it to heart. After all, no one would take a fifteen-year-old child’s words seriously.

She didn’t take it to heart, either. Let’s wait and see. Maybe her uncle will speak up when he’s anxious. If he doesn’t speak up, maybe he just withstood the pressure, so there’s no need to say more.

After sending the two sisters home, Xia Shangxu mentioned that the first batch of parts sent by Jiang Wan would be given to her later, and then he left first.

He was going to run the business license!

Internet cafés can’t be run without some tricks, and it was easy to get stuck. This was why he wanted to find a partner. One person has few connections, but there would be a lot with multiple people.

It was just he was having a headache. His family can’t help him, but keeps dragging…

Xia Shangxu didn’t want to think about it anymore.

Qin Hongfei and her sister entered the house and then saw Tang Jinnan out of the small room. His tall figure was standing in front of the big tree in the yard, his hands on the tree, his head slightly tilted up, not knowing what he was looking at.

She complained in her heart. They were both a researcher, but this guy who had been in seclusion for two or three days, was still clean and tidy without any trace of decadence, which showed how terrible this kind of person’s self-discipline was.

“Have you finished your research?” She asked.

“A little.” Tang Jinnan was working on a new drug research and development. Now he was in the second phase of in vitro experiments. It was confirmed that it had passed. After writing the report, he could move on to the next step. Then he found that the Qin Family was surprisingly quiet: “Where is Shou?”

Qin Fei subconsciously said: “Shou went out and said he would be back in 2 days.”

Be back in two days. Tang Jinnan paused and looked at Qin Hongfei: “2 days?”

Qin Hongfei thought of Shou’s words to keep it a secret, so she said calmly: “He didn’t say where he was going. Maybe he was in a bad mood and went out to relax.”

Tang Jinnan was very calm. He glanced at the computer not far away. After two seconds of silence, he said in his heart: You know, you two are not good at lying.

“If it was just to relax, he would tell me. He went to do something adventurous. It has something to do with me, right?” The tone was firm, not doubtful.

Qin Hongfei looked at him in surprise, so powerful.

He must be a psychology student.

She said: “I promised him not to tell.”

The implication was: don’t ask me, I’ll tell you something else.

Tang Jinnan said: “I can guess even if you don’t tell me.”

He said casually, took a few steps forward, stretched out his hand to grab Qin Hongfei’s hand, and when she was about to shake it off reflexively, he said: “I’ll check your arm.”

Qin Hongfei stopped moving.

Tang Jinnan made a judgment after just one look: “It’s overwork again, but it’s okay.”

Qin Hongfei asked: “Is it getting better?”

Tang Jinnan lowered his eyes to look at her, smiled slightly, and said meaningfully: “Not taking a good rest, and overusing it. It’s the best improvement if it doesn’t get worse.”

Qin Hongfei understood. She shut up and simply stopped talking.

If a patient can’t even do the most basic obedience in front of a doctor, she knows that silence would be the best.

“I won’t do it after I finish assembling the last batch…” She said. Her arm was still very important to her. She can’t lose it.

Tang Jinnan glanced at her, put down her hand without comment, and said: “Then when you are done, I will help you relieve the pain with acupuncture.”

Qin Hongfei looked at him with bright eyes: “Can acupuncture relieve the pain?”

Tang Jinnan nodded and said yes, but if he does it now, it will only increase the burden, which would be equivalent to doing it in vain.

Therefore, in a gentle tone without rebuttal: “When you are done, you can rest well for a month without touching your things.”

Before that, she better bear the pain.
