Chapter 16: I reminded them

Yingshi City was divided into the inner city and the outer city. After getting off the station, Qin Hongfei started looking for a map again.

The Village Aunt must have been here before and had an impression of this place. She said excitedly: “I know how to get here. Little Girl, I will show you the way. Are you looking for your sister?” This Village Aunt has relatives working here. Her relatives specialized in supplying lunch boxes to celebrities, and she came here to apply for a job.

Things would be much easier if someone knew the way. Qin Hongfei was happy that her kindness was rewarded. She read the address on the note to the aunt.

The Village Aunt can’t read, but she can understand the language!

Immediately, she dragged her luggage and showed her the way. Qin Hongfei helped her again to carry some of the luggage.

“By the way, Route No. 2 is not going to Yingshi City, so your aunt and the others are on the wrong bus.”

“Yes, I reminded them.” But they chose not to believe her. Qin Hongfei said.

“……” The Village Aunt was a little speechless. As a fellow villager, although she didn’t have any friendship with them, she heard a few things. The relative had been here several times and told them on the bus that she was familiar with this place, so she led the way.

Fortunately, she didn’t listen to her advice at the bus station and take Route 2, otherwise, she would traveled in circles.

The Village Aunt was very happy. After showing Qin Hongfei the place she was looking for, she took out two pears from her luggage and gave them to her: “Little Girl, thank you so much. I grew these pears at home. They are so sweet. You eat them to quench your thirst.”

Qin Hongfei didn’t show any pretense, she accepted it, thanked her, said goodbye to her, and then went to a small hotel.

Most of the people who work as part-timers around here live in places like this because the prices are cheap. Qin Hongfei entered the small hotel and directly asked the front desk to find a girl named Duoduo, who was Qin Fei’s friend, who had come out to work as a part-timer.

When Duoduo heard that someone was looking for her, she quickly ran over. When she saw it was Qin Hongfei, the smile on her face lightened a lot: “Qin Fei’s sister.”

Qin Hongfei was very good at looking at people. She noticed it, but she just pretended not to see it. “Hello, Sister Duoduo, I came here to see my sister. Do you know anything about my sister?”

Duoduo said in a nonchalant tone: “I haven’t seen Qin Fei for 2 or 3 days. I’m not sure…”

Qin Hongfei asked with some confusion: “Didn’t you come here together?”

Duoduo said impatiently, “Do I need to know everything about your sister because we came here together? I’m too busy with my work as an extra. Something happened to her, so can’t continue working. She has no future. She and I are different. If there is nothing else, I’ll leave first.” What happened to Qin Fei caused such a big joke. Now, the director was afraid of trouble. Even if Qin Fei continued working as a supporting actress for free, there was no future.

Originally, she hoped Qin Fei could help her get one or two work. Now, she can’t even help herself. Why waste her time?

Qing Hongfei didn’t get any useful information from the other party, so she searched around the area. Unfortunately, Qin Fei was not very famous, and not many people knew about her. She also has no means of communication with her. She thought about asking Doudou more questions.

When she arrived at the hotel where Duoduo lived, she bumped into Ye Ru’s group, who were obviously in a sorry state.

Completely different from her attitude toward her just now, Duoduo was smiling affectionately at Ye Ru and her group: “Are you looking for Wanwan? Wanwan is staying in a nearby hotel with the starring actors. I can take you there to find her. Wanwan is doing well now. The staff always takes the initiative to look for her when she has a scene!” Just as she was talking, she caught a glimpse of Qin Hongfei coming again. Her face turned gloomy.
